How to submit your objects for restoration:
1. Call or send an email to describe the object.
2. Send the object to Cleveland Art Metals (see instructions below for packaging*), or arrange to drop off at our workshop**.
3. You will receive a written estimate of repair costs and description of the proposed treatment.
4. Sign and return your proposal, indicating whether you want insurance on the return shipping.
5. When refinishing is completed you will receive an invoice by mail or fax.
6. After sending your payment, the object will be returned to you by UPS.
* When sending your fine metal objects by UPS or another shipper, wrap it firmly around all extremities with enough bubble wrap to create at least a two inch barrier around the object. Pack it in a corrugated cardboard box with enough soft filler material to prevent it from moving around during transit. If the object is extremely heavy or fragile, it is helpful to double box it with padding around the inner box. It is recommended that the package be insured for the replacement value of the object.
